Hey guys, sorry for the long wait! My computer is acting up and apparently won't turn on. But I must do this for some revenue in order to pay for the expenses!

Hi,having a probelm here.I really want a tablet for christmas this year,but i also need a laptop for the school year next year.I just can't decide on what i should get Dx
Which is better to you guys?A tablet or a Laptop?

What i want in a tablet or computer:
1. Something not over $250
2.Something that's easy to carry around
3.Good for creating documents(essays,papers,etc)
4.Something that will last me 6+ years under good matinence.
